This is just a basic example of how Digital Fashion Pro works. Starting with a template that can be changed and manipulated at anytime. You have 100% control over your artistic vision. See the basic design process below:

1. Locate a template similar to what you want to design by browsing through templates by category. For this example: We took a ladies front template from the Pants Folder and a T-shirt from the Tops Folder in Digital Fashion Pro Basic.

2. Locate the fabric you want to use while browsing through over 100 Digital Fabrics located in the Basic Digital Fabric folder or 1,500 Digital Fabrics if you get the Digital Fabric Library 1 DVD. Here are swatches of the fabric we chose from the Digital Fashion Library #1

3. We then Fill the Pants with the Denim. We will add our design after filling. On the T-shirt - we drew seam / lines across the chest with the Pen Tool.

4. Next we add stitch lines by using the Pen Tool on the Jeans plus a button. With T-shirt we filled it with the fabric we chose in step 2. The next thing we did was add some large stitch lines to it for dramatic effect using the Pen Tool as well.

5. On the T-shirt - we use the Text Tool to add words to the T-shirt.

6. Now we have our designs in traditional flats. We could stop here if wanted. But for our example let’s go ahead and put our design on one of our female models that are included in V8 Basic.

7. Let’s add face and hair to our model to complete the look. Face and hair styles are included in Basic V8
